a successful family owned and operated business in the southern Hillsborough County in Florida.

Alejandro Nardin, Operations Manager & Flooring Department Manager

I am a people’s person since I can remember. My dad had a carpet store in my home country of Bolivia in South America back in the ‘70s. I recall going with him to visit customers and learning about the concept of quality, customer service and a unique shopping experience. Today, I treat every single customer like family. I always tell my customers, I don’t sell them materials or services; I help them purchase what they want and what they need so they can enjoy it as long as possible.

I went to college in Brazil and earned a degree in Business Administration. I worked in different types of companies including agricultural, consumer goods, wholesale flooring and retail. Every job I had, helped me develop a skill set I use to communicate with clients today.

Outside of the office I am a 100% family oriented person. Among my many enjoyments, my favorite are playing tennis and mountain biking. I also enjoy traveling with my family to national state parks around the U.S and have had the privilege to travel to 24 countries throughout my life!  

Susan Bedell, Window Treatment Sales

From beginning to end, I enjoy the entire process of designing window treatments. As a child, my interest in textiles and sewing began with my mother's drapery business. From very early on, I made my own clothes and eventually majored in textile design in college. I love that moment when I first walk into a client's home - the possibilities are endless! I take personal tastes and pre-existing decor into consideration and then coordinate with different fabrics and sketch designs for clients to choose from, all while staying within the budget. Sewing is very much a passion so you will find me at home doing the same but I also enjoy gardening, hunting wild mushrooms, and just about anything with my grandchildren!

Lara Franklin, Flooring Sales Consultant

I've been in the flooring business for over 14 years. Throughout my experience, I have been a self-employed tile installer, previously owned successful flooring and interior design store, and for the last few years I have been employed as a flooring consultant and saleswoman. I love what I do here at Dove Interiors and I focus on helping clients create an inviting and comfortable atmosphere reflecting their personality and styles. I enjoy listening to my client's wants and needs when I visit their homes. Typically, customers come to me for guidance on product and color choices. This industry is constantly changing and part of my job is to stay on top of trends, not only educating the client but myself as well which keeps it exciting. I'm an outdoors person at heart and after spending 34 years in Colorado, I enjoy the year-round warmer weather camping, kayaking, fishing, and boating with my family.

Ed Patrick, Flooring Sales Consultant

I am a people person and part of my job is to help customers select a product that fits- tying in current themes and decor to assist clients in making proper decisions in their flooring purchase. Other responsibilities include keeping the showroom in order, updating price changes, and my favorite- welcoming customers when they enter Dove Interiors. My flooring experience began in 1962 when I joined as an Armstrong Distributor. There I attended Armstrong schools to receive my flooring education. I retired in 1998 from flooring sales and in July 2016, I began working for Dove Interiors. Outside of Dove, I volunteer at my church where I'm in charge of visitors, I'm a corvette club member and enjoy attending car shows, and of course I like to read flooring industry magazines to keep up to date on products and trends.

MaryAnn Mortenson, Flooring Sales Consultant

I have been in the window treatment business for almost 30 years and have worked at Dove since 2006. I assist with in-store sales, customer orders, coordinating the installation schedule, and keep our on-line consumer system up to date so we always know the status of our customers projects. Outside of Dive, I am a mother and grandmother and spend much of my off time with my family. I also have a passion for decorating and I am constant updating my home to meet with the latest fashion trends of Florida. 

Dan Vera, Kitchen and Bath Designer

Dan Vera has worked as a kitchen and bath designer for 25 years. He has designed residential kitchens and baths for homeowners with cabinetry from major manufactures such as Omega Custom Cabinetry, Starmark. Medallion and Design-Craft. His design skills range from clean contemporary to classic paneled traditional spaces.  Dan believes that a kitchen should be a seamless continuation of the design style of the home, while still catering to the clients’ functional needs and design aspirations.  Dan enjoys taking time to get to know each client in order to create a design that will best complement each client's tastes and goals for the overall functionality of their space.

Dan recently moved from New York State and has been designing kitchen and baths here in Florida for the past 5 years. He is a past Member and Treasurer of NARI and Builders Association. (National Association of the Remodeling Industry) for 12 years. Was instrumental in organizing successful fund raisers for the organization. NARI Is a Not-for-Profit that represents professional remodeling contractors, product manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, trade publications, utilities and lending institutions. The association is committed to enhancing the professionalism of the remodeling industry and serving as an ally to homeowners. In Dans spare time he is avid Handball player and has won many tournaments.
